Editing an Event
Editing an Event
To edit an event, follow these steps:
- Start editing
- Open the Event Details page.
- Tap the Pencil button in the upper-right corner.
- Update Event Details
- Modify the Event Name, optional Event URL, Start Date & End Time, and optional Description.
- Enable or disable RSVP and Chat.
- Add or update Tasks, Signups, Money Collection, or Polls as needed.
- Note: You cannot update a poll if it has already closed.
- Finalize and Publish
- Tap Save Changes to update the event. It will now appear with the updated details on your Home screen.
- Members will be notified of any changes made to the event.
To cancel your edits, tap the Back button on the upper-right corner, then select Leave to discard changes.

Deleting an Event
To delete an event:
- Tap the Event, then tap the Pencil button.
- Scroll down and select Delete Event at the bottom.
- Confirm the deletion in the popup.
Deleting an event will permanently remove all related tasks, sign-ups, event-tied chats, money collections, and polls associated with that event.

Updating Event Functions
Modify Tasks, Signups, Money Collection, and Polls to an event after it has been created.
Updating a Task
- Navigating to the Task Function
- In the Edit Event view, scroll down to the Add Functions section.
- Start Updating
- Tap + Add Tasks.
- Make changes to Task Name, optional Task Description, and Due Date.
- Finalize and Publish
- Tap Add Task once you’re ready. The task will now be visible to all parent members.
As the Class Admin, you can Add new or Delete tasks as needed.

Add Sign-up Sheets
To modify an existing sign-up sheet:
- Navigating to Sign-up Sheets
- As Class Admin, head to the Event Details and edit the event.
- Scroll down to the Add Functions section and tap Add Signups.
- Start updating
- Modify details such as Sign-up Name, optional Description, and Due Date.
- Set the Slot for the number of parent sign-ups needed for that task.
- Finalize and Publish
- Once ready, tap the Add Sign-up button.
Delete Sign-up Sheets.
Admins can delete sign-ups from active events either during creation or while editing an event.
Delete a sign-up from Today and Upcoming events on the home screen:
- Navigate to Home Screen
- Select an event card under the ‘Today’ and ‘Upcoming’ section.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the event.
- Delete a Signup
- Tap “Signups”.
- Click the trash icon next to the sign-up you want to delete.
- Return to the Edit Event screen, tap the Back button, and click “Save Changes” to save.

Adding a Poll to an Existing Event
- Navigating to Poll Function
- Edit the event and from there scroll down to the Add Functions section.
- Start Creating
- Tap + Add polls to add a new poll.
- Set the Poll Question and enter Options.
- Choose to enable Multiple Answers, Anonymous Voting, and Add Duration.
- Finalize and Publish
- Once ready, tap Add Poll. All polls are interactable to all parent members.
- As the Class Admin, you can Edit or Delete polls. Note that you cannot update a poll once the duration has already ended.

Enable or disable RSVP and Chat from an Existing Event
- Navigating to the Setting
- On your Home screen, tap the Event then tap the Edit button.
- Scroll down to Settings section
- Switching the Settings
- Tap the toggle to enable or disable the RSVP and Chat.
- The toggle should be Green when enabled and Gray when disabled.
- Once a chat has been turned on it can’t be switched off.
- Tap the toggle to enable or disable the RSVP and Chat.
