2.1 Data Collected When Downloading Parentr
When you download Parentr from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, certain data is processed by the respective app store, including:

• Payment information (if applicable for premium features)
• Device identification number (IMEI)

This data is processed directly by the app store and is outside of our control.
2.2 Data Processed When Using Parentr
When using Parentr, you may input, manage, and edit various types of personal data, including:
• User account information: Name, email address, prole picture, phone number.
• Child’s first name (optional) for event-related references.
• Event-related details: RSVP responses, sign-ups, comments.
• Chat messages: Messages within class-tied chats, event discussions, and group chats.
• Money collection transactions: Contributions to teacher gifts or class-related expenses (processed via Stripe).
The legal basis for processing this data is to fulfil our contractual obligation under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and to ensure app functionality.
2.3 Payment and Money Collection via Stripe
Parentr provides a money collection feature, allowing users to contribute funds for class events and gifts. All payment transactions are securely processed via Stripe.
• We do not store your full payment details; all transactions are handled securely by Stripe.

2.4 Chat Feature & Communication Data
Parentr includes a chat feature for parents to communicate within class groups. Messages are processed and stored securely to ensure a smooth chat experience. We do not monitor private conversations unless required for security purposes (e.g., reports of abuse).

2.5 Calendar Sync
Users can choose to sync Parentr events with their personal calendars. This requires granting theapp access to your device’s calendar data. No calendar data is stored on our servers.

2.6 Device & Usage Data
To improve app functionality and security, we collect:
• Device information (model, operating system, unique device ID)
• Log data (app crashes, performance metrics)
